Selene is the personification of the Moon, a Titan goddess, often depicted driving a chariot across the night sky. Selene was worshipped at the New and Full moons, crowned with gold, and beautifully winged. She is not just associated with the Moon but embodies its essence and power.
In this Scepter Series pendant, Selene is represented with a beautiful black kyanite, almost wing shaped and spanning the base of the pendant. Kyanite has been considered by some a stone that facilitates meditation and clear thoughts and can balance the chakras. It is topped with a golden rutile quartz, in which the delicate threads represent the Goddess' flowing hair, and is often believed to aid in insight and spiritual growth. The Scepter is crowned with a deep orange Carnelian stone, expressing energy and courage during one's spiritual journey.  
This pendant is meant to be worn as a talisman that draws to its wearer the characteristics of the Goddess it represents. It measures 9cm in length and will arrive with a 20" copper ball chain.
